The aforementioned articles serve as the legal basis for processing the personal information required to fulfill the contract of which you are a party. This, therefore, refers to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contracting activities.

Deletion and storage

Your personal data will be deleted when the purpose of storage is no longer valid. In addition, your personal data may be provided for by European or national legislation in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which GUMAPLAST VP applies. The data will therefore be deleted if the storage period is prescribed by the above standards.

Registration

You can register to the GUMAPLAST VP website using your personal data. The data is entered into the input mask, then transferred and stored. The information will not be passed on to third parties. Information such as your name, address, e-mail address, date of birth and telephone number is collected as part of the registration process. Registration is required in order to have access to certain content and services on the website. The processing of this information is based on your consent. Consent is obtained as part of the registration with respect to the basic data protection statement. In case of revocation of the statement of consent, the data will be deleted.

Registration is governed by Article 10 of the PDPA and by Article 6 (1) (1a) of the GDPR.

Rights of the data subject

If your personal data has been processed, you are the person in question under the PDPA and GDPR and you are entitled to the rights described below.

Information: You have the right to receive free information from us at any time, as well as a confirmation of your personal data stored and a copy of the data.

Correction: You have the right to have your personal data corrected and/or filled in if it is incorrect or incomplete.

Processing restriction: You have the right to request a processing restriction if one of the following conditions is fulfilled:

  • You may dispute the accuracy of personal data, in a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of personal data.
  • Processing is illegal, you are refusing to leave personal data and you are requesting a restriction on the use of personal data.
  • We no longer need personal data for processing purposes, but you need to confirm, complete, or defend legal requests.
  • Article 23 of the PDPA and Article 21 (1) of the GDPR and it is still unclear whether our legitimate reasons will outweigh yours.

Deletion: You are entitled to have your personal data deleted immediately if one of the following reasons applies and no processing is required:

  • Personal data is collected or processed for purposes that are no longer needed.
  • You are withdrawing the consent on which processing is based and there is no other legal basis for processing.
  • You object to the processing in accordance with Article 22 of the PDPA and Article 21 (1) of the GDPR and there are no basic justified reasons for processing, or you object to processing in accordance with Article 21 (2) of the GDPR.
  • Personal data is processed illegally.
  • Data belongs to the number and type of data whose processing is contrary to the purpose.
  • The data is incorrect and cannot be replaced by a correct one.

Data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data which you have provided in a structured, conventional and machine-readable format. In addition, you have the right to pass this data on to another responsible person without any obstruction on our side. In exercising this right, you also have the right to request that your personal data be transferred directly to another responsible person, if technically feasible. Thereby, the rights of others must not be affected.

Complaint: You have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data that is "only" happening for legitimate interests of us or third parties (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR). In case of a complaint, we will no longer process personal data unless we can prove that we have convincing basis for processing, which are valuable for protection that goes beyond your interests and rights, or that that processing serves to confirm, enforce, or defend legal claims.

Right of appeal to the supervisory authority
